How to Apply for a Grant

Philosophy and Guidelines

A Place for Hope

When most of us think of living in complete poverty with dilapidated housing, no running water and no electricity, we think of a third world country. These conditions, however, are right here in the Blackmon Road Community between Rock Hill and Chester County. For generations, this has been the most underserved community in the state of South Carolina. A Place for Hope provides residents of Blackmon Road with material resources, hands-on education, job development programs and a new sense of hope for themselves and their community. Read more about the incredible transformation taking place here.
