Foundation Helps Feed Hungry Families - Summer, 2010
In August and early September, the Springs Close Foundation partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to deliver 75,000 pounds of food via mobile pantries to five sites in the Fort Mill area. This effort was part of the Foundation's ongoing work to fight hunger in Chester, Lancaster and York Counties.

During the summer months of 2009, 12 mobile pantries were held throughout Lancaster County delivering 180,000 pounds of food to needy families.
